How good do the videos look and sound?
Do you get enough for your money – and is it clear what it costs?
Can you trust the site with your money and data? (knockout criterion)
Is new content added regularly?
Can you quickly find what you want – on mobile too?
Is there more than just videos?

Each criterion is rated 1 to 5 stars in half steps. The overall score is the weighted average: content counts most, extras least. Example:

If “Trust & safety” is below 2.5 stars – for example hidden subscriptions, no legal notice or unclear origin of content – the overall score is capped at 2.5 and the review carries a “Caution” label. Great content cannot make up for dubious billing.
Regular access like any customer – press access is disclosed in the review.
At least one week of use on desktop and smartphone.
Rating of all seven criteria, including billing and cancellation.
Re-test after 12 months at the latest – older reviews are labelled.
